In 2019 we’ll have an open discussion on the philosophy and conversations that His Holiness the Dalai Lama has engaged in with leading scientists, academics, ethicists, and activists on the most urgent questions facing humanity today:
• What is happening to our planet?
• What can we do about it?
• How do we balance the concerns of people against the rights of animals and against the needs of an ecosystem?
• What is the most skillful way to enact change?
And how do we fight on, even when our efforts seem to bear no fruit?
Denise Vail will moderate these bi-monthly discussions. The material to be discussed can be found in His Holiness’ new book: Ecology, Ethics, and Interdependence.
It’s is not necessary to have read the book to join the discussion. These bi-monthly sessions are beneficial, helping us learn more about how to live a meaningful, integrated, and happy life in harmony with ourselves and others and how we each can help take universal responsibility and action in helping.
