Thursday March 21

9:00am-9:45am The Symbols Of Tibetan Buddhism  Geshe Lobsang Chophel is currently teaching a 8-class winter intensive, sharing and explaining the meaning behind some of the extensive Tibetan symbols that adorn the rich tapestry of visual imagery of Tibetan sacred art.  

Geshe will explain the multiple layers of symbolism that will a bring a panoramic understanding and a deeper insight in sacred art. The class will begin with the eight suspicious symbols. Geshe will also share the names and meaning of Tibet’s mystical animals and the ritual of hand gestures. The series of classes began on January 31st. Each week the same class will be given on Thursdays and Saturdays to meet with student’s various scheduling needs. Suggested donation for the 8-class series is $108.

9:00am-9:30am  Tibetan Yoga  There are five postures in Tibetan Yoga. These postures increase our healing potential by helping to balance body and mind which in turn allows our meditations to become deeper.
9:30am-10:30am  Love & Compassion Meditation Join us for a guided meditation on love and compassion. This meditation helps our mind and hearts open to ourself and all sentient beings.
