Tibetan language study is not only essential for the preservation of Tibetan culture, but, when engaged on an individual level, enables the practitioner to connect with his or her Dharma practice with deep intensity. In this workshop, Geshe Jampa will introduce us to the basic grammar and pronunciation of literary Tibetan. The program will allow students to begin to read important spiritual texts such as the Heart Sutra in Tibetan, allowing a deeper understanding of these ancient teachings. All classes will be held at the Emaho Center. See the online calendar for schedule and details.

The goal of this workshop series is to provide the opportunity to engage the richness of the Tibetan language. The classes will be repeated in an ongoing pattern so that those who have missed a track or would like to re-inforce what they learned have the opportunity to take it again.
