four Noble Truths 21In a 5 class series of teachings, Geshe Lobsang will share the history behind Shakyamuni Buddha’s profound teaching, the Four Noble Truths.  This series is suitable for people just starting their studies as well as for people who want to refresh and deepen their understanding.

The four noble truths, the truth of suffering, the cause of suffering, the cessation of suffering, and the path to the cessation from suffering is the first teaching Buddha gave upon attaining enlightenment. Learning the principles on which Buddha based his first teaching will bring us understanding and help make positive actions which will help us to eliminate the conditions and activities that bring about suffering. Studying and following Buddha’s advice will bring us closer to realizing happiness and it’s causes.

Geshe Lobsang has designed this five class series to begin with the history of the life of Shakyamuni Buddha. Then, in the following four classes, Geshe will explain each of the Noble truths and their relevance to our daily life.

Webinar classes will take place on Sundays at 10:00 -- June 21, 28 and July 5, 12, and 19.
