Emaho is welcoming 2026 with our one-day Chenrezig retreat and mantra recitation and collection. Our annual mantrathon will be held in-center and via zoom with wishes for a peaceful year, a year of benefical resolution to world problems, a year of healing, happiness and spiritual growth.
The Mantrathon is a worldwide community event, with residents of Drepung Loseling in India, Rinpoche’s friends and students at Trashi Ganden Choepel Ling Tibetan Buddhist Center in New Zealand, friends from Japan, the sangha from Yakima, friends in New Mexico, and of course, our own Phoenix based Emaho center.
We will send out a stream of Avalokiteshvara mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, to surround ourselves and the world in loving kindness. Avalokiteshvara, Chenrezig, is the embodiment of the compassion of all Buddhas.
Between now and the retreat folks can begin daily recitation of mantra to add to the finial count.
You are welcome to join us for the full day, or join us for part or all of any session or number of sessions.
