2026 Mandala

With great joy Emaho invites our dear friends especially those we haven’t seen in a while but still hold us in their hearts to please join us for our anniversary celebration on Saturday April 4 in person and on Zoom.

In the weeks leading up to the event, Geshe Namgyal is creating a Chenrezig sand mandala to commemorate this quarter century milestone and to symbolize our renewed determination to bring more peace and harmony into our world. This scared image reminds us that, like the grains of sand, together we have been part of something beautiful. That Emaho is more than a physical place. It is the expression of joy and wonder that comes with the recognition of the innate virtue in our hearts and minds which we return to again and again to uplift ourselves and others.

April 4th Schedule

3:00-4:30 pm Phoenix time

Rinpoche will lead the ceremony to deconstruct the mandala and explaining its deep spiritual significance. Releasing the energy of compassion back into the universe, the colored sands are swept up and poured into a stream. Attendees will be given small bags of swept sand to take home as a reminder to live with greater awareness, care for others more deeply and to rejoice in their happiness and spiritual accomplishments.

Join us in person or via Zoom for the ceremony
