Sunday June 16 12:00pm-1:00pm
Please mark your calendar to join us in celebrating Saka Dawa.
Saka Dawa is one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist days, paying homage to Shakyamuni Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and parinirvana. It is said that positive actions done on this day are multiplied many times. We will participate in the bathing Buddha ceremony. Together we will recite Praises to Buddha, we’ll chant his mantra and join in silent meditation focusing on our auspicious fortune to have come into contact with the precious dharma.
After, please stay for cookies, coffee and conversation.
