Three Principles

Je Tsongkhapa, one of the greatest commentators in the history of Buddhism, wrote the three principal aspects to enlightenment.

  2. Altruistic Intention: An aspiration for enlightenment for the benefit of all beings.
  3. Wisdom: A supreme understanding of the truth.
