Tibetan Yoga

Geshe Lobsang is offering Tibetan Yoga beginning Thursday, March 31, 6:15 pm-6:45 pm, followed by White Tara meditation. Weekly, Geshe will offer Tibetan Yoga before weekly deity meditation, including Tsok dates.

Tibetan yoga is a complete series of physical movements improving strength, increasing mobility and flexibility to both our body and mind balancing the flow of our energy for optimum well-being. Tibetan yoga consists of five basic postures and breathing techniques that help remove negative tendencies and mental stagnation. These yoga postures are easy to learn, and practice increases the positive results of increased physical and mental pliancy. Physical and mental pliancy bring space for joy, happiness and overall well-being.  Geshe-la will share with us each posture's significance and how from these five exercises, we emerge calmer, allowing our meditation practice to become spacious, deeper and clearer.
