Please join Geshe Lobsang for a class about refuge. In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the purpose of taking refuge is to wake from our samsaric delusions, the causes of our sufferings. Taking refuge vows is the entryway for joining the Tibetan Buddhist spitural family. Under the guidance of a true lineage master we commit to becoming a spiritual practitioner, who under the guidance of the master works for the benefit of all sentient. I take refuge in the Buddha.
I take refuge in the dharma.
I take refuge in the sangha.
